Reeeally got me wanting an E30 or a BMW 2002, or anything else old and European.
...or how about the one in between? e21

An old Alfa Giulia would be great.
    The sedan?

Oh, gotcha... Yeah the Guilia was a sedan made from 62-78. The Giulia Sprint or GTV was the coupe.

How ambitious are you? There's two GTV 2000s and one 1750 in this lot. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1488234371346897/

Saw those yesterday lol. $150 each is enticing but they're far too gone for me. Hopefully someone with skill, space, and time will save them.

I've got my ND Miata holding me out for now but eventually I need to pick up something old and more analog. Would love a 993 or earlier 911 at some point, but they're in a pretty crazy bubble right now it seems.

The 911's have always been in a bubble.....

Gotta wait 14 weeks for my new work ride. Went with a Navigator Reserve. Funny thing is it will cheaper than the current ride, 17 Denali. They apparently got a crap lease deal on that thru Enterprise.
Been sitting for 2 hours in the Audi dealership for them to check brakes on bosses car. It is a 2015 with 7K miles on it! He is very particular about stuff. Good thing I like cars.

    To All,

My latest "FIND" is a one-owner, 1992 Mercury Grand Marquis GS with just over 10,000 actual miles, out of a local estate sale. = Looks like a NEW car, as it's been garaged its entire "life".
It's OXFORD WHITE with Royal Blue Velour interior.
(This one I'm keeping for a Sunday pleasure & show car. = Where could a person ever find another one??)

    yours, satx

    avvidclif,

The Porsche that I'd love to have back was my Forest Green 1966 Euro-spec 912 (YES, the little 4-banger) that I owned in grad school.

WORKED EVERY DAY, plenty fast enough to suit me & got near 30MPG too.
(I was dumb enough to sell it to a boarding school chum & "for peanuts", when I was transferred to Germany again.)

Note: When I got to BRD, I was foolish enough to buy a Lancia Abarth. = BIG mistake, as that thing was blazing fast but needed constant work to run decently.

    yours, satx

I really want a rotary powered car. Mazda RX3
Those are getting pretty hard to find. Settle for an RX7...

Make sure you have a good mechanic and wrecker on speed dial if you have a 911 or an RX-3.
 Air cooled 911s are actually very reliable compared to their contemporaries. Porsche mechanics however are pretty expensive. Best become your own mechanic. Spot on about the Wankel, tho. They need a lot of attention.

I had a friend with a pair of 914's. One to drive while the other was in the shop. Seldom were both at home. He caught hell about it but just grinned and kept going. Then he went to the RX-7 IIRC. Frying pan to fire.
