Not sure exactly how many rounds, but I did have to brace the floor to keep it from sagging. Plus reloading supplies.

So, you have 66 mags for all your handguns?

I do actually have more than enough magpul mags to load 1k .223/5.56.

You bring up an excellent point. Many folks do not have much in the way of mags. If it ever does hit the fan, I don't want to spend time constantly reloading mags. So I have stockpiled mags as well. Probably not enough.

That 1k per is probably a pretty good place to start.

I actually feel that 66 mags/per handgun is excessive.

ETA: I came up with the number 66 by averaging handgun mags at 15, and divided that into 1k rounds.

9 mags total for my gun. i carry 3 and use 6 as "range mags" but if it ever hits the fan I wouldnt mind using them for other purposes

Most common calibers are at the lowest prices I've seen in 5 years. Heck, even the uncommon calibers too. It's a good time to buy. I should get another 1000 of everything I shoot, but honestly, storage space is a problem.
