    No, the dance isn't called Fortnite. That particular dance is the floss. It's done by characters in the game Fortnite. If you look, you can find pages dedicated to collecting and rating the dances done by characters in Fortnite; the floss is just one of them.

    It's so incredibly sad that I know this.

    ETA: Something I didn't know is that according to some sources the dance was invented, in real life, by a kid named Russell Horning, aka The BackPack Kid, who became famous when Katy Perry featured him in a musical number performed on Saturday Night Live.

    For the curious, here's that performance. Russell does his thing at about the 2:40 mark. Personally, I don't understand the point of throwing a kid onto a stage full of drag queens; it's thematically inconsistent/artistically jarring. But whatever. They're artists, right?
