As as far as people- It's his/her money- if a doctor agrees to do a surgery and a customer pays for it. I've gotta say it is what it is in faith in doctors. Not really. Study Greek history and you will see the difference between their views and the gay lifestyle today. You find the same view in prisons. They may engage in a male to male sexual act, but they are not gay, nor was Alexander's Army. Not to say there were not gays at all. Historically gays are about 3-7% (depending upon who you ask) of any given population. I do not believe being gay is a choice, but rather it is just being mis-wired, not to say there are not some who chose it there are due to peer pressure, influences by older adults on younger people.

Homosexuality is deviant behavior, not to say bad, it simply is a deviation from the norm, no better or worse than being left handed.

The first gay I met in the Army was in basic, when out of the blue one of the guys in my company chose me to come out to. I will never forget the discussion one Sun outside the barracks. Him in tears telling me of his personal problems?????? Had NO idea what to tell him, not sure why he picked me, he just said he had to tell someone and he hoped I would not say anything. I did not. Over my career I met several more. From lower enlisted to a Col. 100% were good soldiers and only a few folks knew about their private life. You worked with them, developed a professional friendship and some would open up. It was at most a shrug of the shoulders and keep soldiering on.

Scattered in amongst were those that used 'gay' to get out of the Army. We had one in our company and had been in my platoon for a while and none of us NCO/Officer thought the guy was gay, but instead used that to get out of the Army and his contract. Have seen several over the years in both the junior enlisted and officer ranks use that to leave the service I think some were, some were not, just wanted out.

Sadly, we now have changed the rules and that no longer works. DADT was a good system, and worked well. All that has happened now is they can go "OPEN" which means if they do not get promoted, get weekends off etc etc etc then they head down to EO office and file discrimination...nothing good can come from this can of worms...no pun intended!

BS. I don't care if it's a 400lb monster that works the dock and is straight as the day is long. If he wants to be called Mary, asks me to call him Mary, then simple courtesy says you call a person by the name they give you. They want a mister, ma am, Mrs., or Sue then give them that. Refusal to do so isn't because you suddenly can't tell what color a bench is, but that if you don't register you distaste for even one day someone somewhere might get the idea your ok with what someone else does that should have zero effect on you. The only reason this would have any effect is because you wouldn't leave it alone and let someone be. IT'S WORK!!
