    Some updates. Only got so far as putting a roof on this season. Will get walls up, paint and anchor it this summer

    Had some epic rifle issues this year, so the only deer I bagged was this doe

    And got this sweet pic of winter weather. The weight of the ice was enough to snap some of the old barbed wire I used for the feeder pen

    My goodness, you fellas sure are constructing some big blinds! Of course, I only have a 100 yard drive in the Mule to get to my stand, so I sleep in my own warm bed. Since mine has been up for several years, the deer don't pay it any attention, but it did have some camo paint on it at one time. #1 son's stand is on the right, a light spot on top of the next "hill" about 300 yards away. (Well, it's on the right of the stand, but straight ahead in the picture)

    A little carpet dampens any noises I make and makes a nice rest in the "windows".

    BTW, here's the exit of the last deer I shot at 150 yards with a 140 gr 7mm Mag.

    It isn't too impressive until the hide is stripped away from the entrance.
