OK...I did it! I received the envelope yesterday in the mail...opened it up to my card...did some unexplainable moves on the kitchen floor (we wont go there!)!

I was so excited...it "feels" different carrying this in my wallet.

I will do the Wally Walk as soon as I can...but as of now, I am sitting at my desk...legal, concealed, cocked and loaded!!!

I called yesterday. Almost got to talk to the person working on my case, but she was busy at the moment. I was told she would email me regarding some "extra" paperwork I had sent her - still no email. I'll give them till the end of the week before I call back. I don't know how many more times I can listen to that damn music they make you listen to when you're on hold.

Welp, they received all my paperwork. The website says my background check is under review. I'm assuming since I've never been arrested in my life and don't belong to any questionable organizations (unless working for the federal government counts ) that it shouldn't take too long for them to finish the process. Keeping my fingers crossed.

yeah, that attitude is productive. You realize state law gives DPS 90 days to either issue, deny or tell you it will take more time, right?
