Food “Health” claims abound in our media of today; virtually every one is either exaggerated, fabricated, or born of a misunderstanding.

To wit, many still view “low-fat” foods as “healthy”, to the point that even many Cardiologists & Dietitians promote that outdated & incorrect idea.

Humans are multi-fuel “omnivores”, can do well on many diets.

For instance: If vegetarianism is “healthy”; why do Indian HIndus, strict vegetarians all, have such high incidences of coronary atherosclerosis & obesity ?

Cardiovascular atherosclerosis is a complex area, dependent on many factors; some such as genetiics, cannot be changed.

After a lifetime of chasing rainbows, we now eat the same traditional diet as our ancestors. Our only consideration is to avoid high sugar(s) processed foods.

    ”REAL butter is BETTER!”

I have two brothers, the youngest who I would say eats the healthiest, is in the hospital now. Trouble with his gallbladder, pancreas and liver.
