My best hope .... tons of prison land in the area along the Trinity River and hooking up with someone that has permission to hunt.

Yeah, but you don't really eliminate that many when you dog them.

Well crap, JUST found out a known connection to hunt on prison land quit and went to the oil field.

we were headed on a night hunt when my best friends, 14 yr old nephew got excited and said he had a huge hog in his sights. i told him to double check his target, not only because we were in the front pasture with the horses and hadnt got to the woods yet, but because i havent seen hogs in that pasture in a long time. i dont remember if it was a horse or cow that night, just remember it wasnt a hog, his aunts would have been pissed.

im putting in a hog pipe prolly next week and i have a few telephone poles im going to install in the woods as well. havent decided where to place em yet. might clear a nice circle near the front for them to play in.
