I just drank a bottle of this recently. I also like their blended whiskey too. That hint of vanilla is nice.

Love some Angel’s Envy Rye, Blantons and Bulleit Rye are also pretty tasty!I've heard good things about Angel's Envy and their Rye. I need to pick it up.
I had the chance to sample the Whistle Pig Boss Hog "Black Prince" a few weeks ago and it wasn't bad. It wasn't worth the retail of $450 either.
Picked up some Elijah Craig on recommendation and I can't stand it.
Jamison is still my favorite.
Was in Dublin, Ireland a few years ago and asked the bartender what they had that was better than Jameson, he said everything. So, with his recommendation I had a glass of Green Spot. No water, no ice, wam, right out of the bottle. Phenomenal stuff, I now have two bottles of it.
That's a good price, I paid about $80 the other year.
Ranger Creek Rimfore is pretty good, definitely mesquite flavored. The regular Ranger Creek is a favorite of mine.
I started buying brands that are actually distilled in Texas a few years ago when only a few were, now they are quite a few brands.
FYI: Read bottles carefully; made in, bottled in, produced in, blended in, etc are not actually distilled in Texas. Legally a bottle has to, and can only say "distilled in" to have actually been distilled in that location, Texas for instance. I discovered this after buying TX whiskey the other year and then reading the bottle and trying to find out where it was distilled. Last I saw they say eventually they'll have one actually distilled in Texas but not yet.
I was thinking/wishing a gallon. It's a half gallon. 1.75l. Twin Liquors will put it on sale every so often. I'd try the Green Dot but that'd be a special occasion for me. I think Jameson is expensive as hell too.
Bulliet is another desire. It's what you'd expect whiskey to taste like. Burn without the fire followed by seasoned oak.[/QUO
They have released the TX Bourbon which is distilled and aged in Ft. Worth.
The TX Whiskey is the Blend. The TX Bourbon is what’s distilled here.
