Other countries have already weighed in on the Syrian "problem." Most of them are against any outside military intervention. That's as it should be. THIS country has no reason to be poking its nose into the internal affairs of a foreign country, ESPECIALLY one in the Middle East. Every time we get involved in that area, we only make MORE enemies. Obastard, MuckCain and the rest of the war mongers need to back off, jack off and regroup. This is not an issue of OUR national security. It WILL be, though, if we attack anyone in Syria.

A question I'd like to ask Obama is what's so compelling about this most recent attack by an Assad dictator on his people that we must act? Is it simply because this time chemical weapons were used? There were no calls for "ACTION!" by any U.S. or world leader when in 1982 Bashar's daddy Hafez surrounded and pounded the city of Homs (also known as Hama) with conventional artillery for a month killing 40,000 civilians in an attempt to quell a Muslim brotherhood uprising. So what's different today, the net result is the same? My belief? Obama is setting himself up to be nominated Secretary-General of the United Nations so he can continue his social re-engineering on a much grander scale. He needs to be seen as the champion of the oppressed people of the world to get elected to that position. Only the world stage can satisfy Obama's need for glory.

So we either punish Al-Assad who is supported by Iran and Russia, or we punish the rebels supported by Al Qaeda. It seems like a lose-lose proposition. Either way we will be supporting a group hostile to our country. It is in the United States best interest to just let them fight each other. It is not like whomever eventually gets control of Syria will ever be grateful to us.
You don't go to war to punish, you go to war to win.

The Russians seem to have a strong interest in keeping the US from striking. They have moved naval forces into the area and have at least one guided missile destroyer there already.

Wonder what bho would do it a Russian Navy warship intercepted and destroyed the US cruise missiles headed for their targets (that seems to be the most plausible way our military will strike Syria) in the event we launch them??? By no means am I thinking they will attack a US warship, just the missiles in flight.

    Possible??

Some even think the Zimmermann Telegraph was faked by the Brits.....................

(yeah, go look that obscure piece of history up to learn a few things about history and how things might be different here in Texas, LOL)
Probably not that much different, just took longer for this state to become almost all Spanish speaking

I'm wondering what the big deal is about chemical weapons. Dead is dead, whether by nukes, bare fists or something in between. Let the Syrians kill each other off.
