You must be against open carry then?
    Moi?

No, not at all. I grew-up in an O C always legal State, and have done that a bunch.

    But, “Concealed means concealed!!”

In fact, today, if yu see me O C’ing; legal or not, I still have a concealed somewhere.

    Example: Living in a rural area, I may O C a .22 semi-auto. There is still a .45 or 9mm somewhere, where it isn’t evident.

Do not underestimate the effects of “surprise” on a BG predator.

I have been stalked in Houston neighborhoods while out for a walk.
    they see a 79yo man, bent-over a bit, walking with a cane.

But then they suddenly see a .45.

“STOP; don’t make me draw my weapon!!”

    Their attitude is immediately adjusted.

If it's concealed, how would they see it before you draw it?

Do you live in Texas, or Louisana?

Duh, I pushed my shirt or vest back, grasped weapon, ready to draw. A person has a lot less to possibly explain if weapon never leaves its holster.

IIRC, in that case it was a "safari vest" and a G26, not a real .45.

Every prosecutor loves the word "brandish" and misuses it liberally.

Personally, I don't go around inquiring what another man may be carrying in his "fanny" pack.

Just seems rather rude, with over-tones of ghey!
