Revelation Model 350A 20 Gauge single shot- bought at Western Auto in Seguin, circa 1966. Don't remember what I paid, but couldn't have been much more than $25.

Rohm 63 22 Cal Western style revolver - bought at now defunct Gulf Mart in 1971. That was just North of where Highland Mall is now. IIRC it was around $27.

    Ruger Mark I Target Model, 6 7/8" barrel. 1978 from McBride's in Austin. $87.50

Still have all 3, but haven't shot the first two in probably 40 years.
I'm pretty sure the Rohm 63 is what a buddy of mine bought out of a magazine ad when we were 19 years old. Not much money involved. Not even a felony. Fun plinkin'.

Margolins never fail to make me drool. When I was a kid, they were exotic unobtainium and my fascination with them has never gone away.

I hope you've still got it.

In the UK they weren't that popular and I picked it up used for around $70. Unfortunately I had to surrender it along with my other three pistols after the Dunblane massacre in 1996.

    Shit.

Things happened so fast. I remember trying to get some FFLs to jump on the situation and do as many private imports as possible. I remember trying to put out feelers to handgunners over there to find neat stuff to import.

The FFLs didn't want to do the paperwork. The poor folks over there just seemed resigned to their fate.

    A garbage situation, all around.

    Guess I was spoiled!

    1) Anschutz .22 youth rifle

    2) J P Sauer 16GA double "Grouse Gun"

    3) Belgian Browning "Sweet 16"

However my favorite was GrandPa's Winchester .22 pump, which was my constant companion outdoors.

Somewhere, my parents gave me a .22 Benjamin Pump air rifle, too.

.410 Snakecharmer for $110.00, because I was broke and it seemed like a good apartment gun.

Browning HiPower - last of the Belgians, quite accidentally.

Mossberg 500 combo, pistol and rifle stock, long and short barrels. Used to shoot skeet with it, when I was young and dumb and didn't know any better. And probably shot better with it than I do my RedLabel now...

Chinese SKS for $60 x 4 (I would shoot 1K rounds through them, then sell it for $150)

British Enfield 303 (sporterized) for $40. Old guy sold it to me because neither his kids nor grandkids wanted it.

S&W 422 pistol for $175. Walmart had caved and were getting out of the pistol selling business.

A Sears .22 rifle with a 40-pound trigger pull for Christmas when I was 6.

    A Ruger .45 convertible Blackhawk when I was 16.

Right after that I got into silhouette shooting and bought a bunch of guns. I honestly don't remember which was #3. A M29 or a Contender or my DW Pistol Pac? I actually can't remember.

Old Remington .22 LR bolt action (actually took shorts, longs and long rifle)
    Rhome .22 revolver
J.C. Higgins pump 12 gauge (a pheasant killing son of a gun)

    Bought:
    old Tanfoglio /380 Pistol

My little brother drew for and got the Higgins when Dad died.
All the others are gone accept for the Marlin. Still have it. My favorite shooter.

It almost seems like a lifetime ago, but I had bought a Mosin Nagant when I had just gotten to my duty station in Missouri. I later on bought a Sig M400 SRP and then a Beretta 96A1. I almost miss the Beretta.

    1) Chipmunk .22 that was a Christmas gift at age 6

    2) Youth model 870 20 ga. I received some time in middle school

    3) Ruger 10/22 also from middle school

All 3 are sitting in the safe waiting for my boys to be of age.

2 of my nephews were introduced to firearms with the Chipmunk. Both of them also killed plenty of doves with the 870.
