Sorry, had to do work stuff.

Back to original intent though, I need to double the door count of my current daily ('16 Camaro SS). The problem is I don't put a lot of miles on the car each year (6-7k) so can't talk myself into spending a bunch of money on something expensive (which is why I bought the Camaro). So I want something quick that handles well and doesn't cost a lot. Dreamin' I know ;)

On May 19, 1973 I came home with a Bronze 1973 Charger. Parked in front of the house was a Fire Engine Red 1973 Charger. While I was buying one a one dealership my wife was getting one at another dealership. I asked her why Red, you said you would never have a Red car. She said "it was the only one with a 150 mph speedometer. 1973 the last year of the original Muscle Cars. A few weeks later my wife showed up with a 1973 Mustang Convertible 351 Cleveland. Fortunately, my wife has changed her interest to guns.

Is this thread for car pron?
That was the original intent, assuming you actually saw the car and took the picture.

Super cool cars found on the 'net should go in the cool pictures thread.

And I don't believe for a second those guidelines are enforceable. :)

Are the new Supras a decent vehicle?
Having owned BMW in the past, I'm skeptical.
Will a Toyota service department get to know me on a first name basis?

I think that’s the question, at least it is for me.
    A Toyota with BMW reliability...
Not every Toyota dealer will sell and/or service the car.

hmmm........ I’m getting an Alfa Romeo vibe from the styling on that car.

    edit - reminds me of a Z3/Z4

It is a Z4...the car is a joint venture with BMW.
The Germans did most of the engineering. The Supra gets Toyota styling cues but it’s basically Z4 underneath.

I don’t know anything about it but it’s a great looking car, no doubt. The only problem I’d have with owning one is if it’s a German car mechanically.

My experiences with BMW, Mercedes, and (to a lesser degree) Porsche left an extremely bad taste in my mouth. I regularly see unbelievable deals on relatively new, low mileage German cars but I’d be hard pressed to own another.

If it were Japanese designed and built that would be a different matter.
