It is very wet. Stopped by on my way home from work 1 day this week to shoot pistols. Bring your hip boots.Planning on heading out there in the morning but might still be around by then. I'm guessing with all the rain lately it will be BYOJB (bring-your-own-johnboat).
I am surprised it was quiet today. With it being sunny and all I thought it would be crowded.MK, thanks for the heads up!
Allen, if you go and can post the conditions, please do. I would like to have some pistol practice.
I can usually hear them shooting from my house, but it was very very quiet today....
We just missed you. We started shooting at 11:00.Just got back online...
I bailed out around 10:30am as the wind was a bit cooler than I had expected.
Big puddles in all the usual places but if you've got ankle-high boots you can go anywhere to post your targets.
Would it be too hard for ASC to drop a load of aggregate along the target line? It would improve drainage and improve their business during times when a Zodiac is not required to get/set your target..
Really anything to fill in the ruts around the target would be awsome. While I am dreaming.... Some 8" & 12" steel plates at 200yds would be a fantastic improvement. Imagine not having to walk 400yds to change a target, and listening for the clank instead.
Am I being unreasonable?
