I had to watch about a dozen YT vids in order to manipulate 4 screws and nuts but I finally got this pig mounted and it's ready for sighting in Saturday.

Gawd that thing is ugly .. LoL. I'm open to opinions on naming it. Agatha, Gertrude, and Bertha come to mind :green:

Late night 'coons. Pics through a window, 20yds away, street light 50' to the right and above, IR set to 0.

Understand I was holding the scope and camera freehand, hence the blurs.

I've not been very complimentary of this scope but I've also expected perfection. Perfection costs more than $500 and the more I look through it, the more I appreciate it.

G69, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. IOW, it's always going to look ugly to you. Sorry pal.

188 pound boar at 30 yards; pitch black with IR on Level 2. Not sure why he ain't moving.

LMAO! What is making me appreciate it more is viewing vids shot through $10K scopes that may have been done in pitch black but, the clarity is not much better. IOW, I'll time my hunts more precisely. :p

    Piss off!

Honestly, I had a VERY hard time sighting it in today. At @ 15yds to find paper and later @ 20yds using a 6" Shoot n See target, I could barely see the red bullseye. Shoot n See was on a black backer and everything blended together, for me! Moonpie said he could see the bull.

I am having sight-in troubles as well. There's not much contrast during the day in bright sunlight. I have resorted to sighting in at night (really need to just pick a damn zero and stop fooling with it).

G, if you find a good daytime sight-in procedure, please post.
