Make sure the firing pin moves freely in the bolt as SKS are notorious for slamfire. Plenty of steel ammo around and Bulgaria providing plenty.
Wideners has a pretty good price.
That Global Ordnance stuff has got excellent reviews on youtube - I recently got a new AKM and needed ammo and saw this stuff - not affected by the ban on Rusky stuff. Got mine from Lucky Gunner on sale. Might still be on sale... I haven't shot it yet myself but like I said the reviews have all been good. Available and less than Wolf....

Spcwolf: "I may look into getting some SKS tech sights. They give an adjustable aperture that will make shooting probably better. I also have a front sight adjustment tool that can adjust elevation. This should be interesting."

I don't know about your SKS there but my AKM's rear sight has fuzz all over it that makes it hard to site precisely.... I might need to get the tech sights too... an aperture is better even mid-mount.
