asked what they would they give me for my citadel cs. they told me 225.00 they lost the best part of their mind, so went to the lgs and saw a springer fs 1911 well that fell through, so i pouted....
went to cabellas just to ease my hurt, and lo and behold i saw a30-06 but not what i wanted, went to the vaut and asked if they had any thing back there!!!! one of the guys said hold on.

and even had enough for 20 rds of 30-30

Hosted some Japanese Infantry Officers at my home some years back.

All they wanted to do is drink whiskey, eat steak, and shoot guns. (Not in that order).

When given the choice of guns to shoot, they picked the Marlin 336 first, a CZ-75 second, and a Walther P-38 third.

When asked why they did not want to shoot a 1911, they said: "Kill too many Japs."

Having said that, I found the Japanese Officers to be the most polite, steely-eyed warriors I've ever met. They remain true to the Bushido creed (death before dishonor).

Why don't you bring it out to Lonestar in the morning? the wife and I are planning on going around 9 or 10, for a couple of hours on the pistol range.
