YOU remember that i was looking for another 1911 well got a tarus from a guy nice heater, but just not for me so went to tex guns today and found a nib ROCK fs in ss ambi safety act mag, i will post pics as soon as my daughter shows me how to work the camera

got the tarus for 500.00 sold it on trade 420.00 lost 80.00 so what got the rock for 540.00.
paid the diff and now i am smokin total 129.00 otd

Nice lookin gun! I didnt know RI made a stainless 1911.
BTW, I would put a new spring kit in it. That about the only thing I dont like about the RIA's. The springs are all too weak. Do that and you'll love it more.

It's most likely Nickle plated. I haven't seen SS in any of their ads.
