I also foolishly traded mine. It was a very high quality pistol. Internet wisdom said that the firing pins broke when dry firing the pistol so I took extra care in handling it. As I recall, it had an excellent trigger action! I had zero firing pin issues.

Good snag. The pistol will serve you well.

I was very snobbish toward these until my brother talked me into buying one.

Gotta say, I really enjoy shooting it. It is the softest shooting nine I have ever shot.

I have a star firestar plus 9mm, the first pistol I ever owned - My dad gave it to me on my 18th birthday.
Shoots great and I have never had a problem with the gun. Very well made. Is a backup for my glocks.

I bought a Star Model B for around $200 a few years ago and I like it. Rumor has it that Hollywood uses them as props for Colt 1911 because they are easily found and cheaper than the Colts.

Main reason was that blank cartridges were cheaper and easier to find in 9mm. It wasn't until the '80s that .45ACP blanks became available.

I'm offended that you forgot about the clearly superior firearm.

I'll give you $250 for it.
