I am posting this really early, but figured I might as well start looking. I am going to Colorado School of Trades in about two months and looking for projects.

I am wanting to refurbish an older or worn Commander sized 1911. Dont really care about holster wear at this point. As long as there is nothing seriously wrong with it...I would prefer a SS model, but wouldnt pass on the right deal for a blued. Looking for a 9mm or .45 model.

I would even trade my beloved tricked out CZ 75B SA....

    Thanks

I am located in Ft. Worth

If that doesn't work out you may want to order a kit and some upgrade parts from Sarco and build a GI replica for your 1st one... about $400 with shipping shopped out the way I am thinking about ordering one.. maybe less if some of the parts I wanted are actually included in the parts kit.
