I thought San Antonio was a dry place. Then I moved to Midland. 13" of rainfall a year, and it only rains an average of 11 days a year.

This place makes San Antonio a tropical paradise.

after 3 yrs of drought and very little rain down here in south texas.... i will never complain about the rain again....got some thunderstorms and rain today...btw...maybe our lake levels can get over 25% full....

They had a great storm go through our watershed today. :)) I had rain 3 times this week in corpus proper. 2 inches in my gage this week. I'm a happy camper.

All public /private boat ramps have been closed for quite some time , the locals launch off the granite shelf .
    That includes most craft.

I live/lived on Buchanan ,we have a gully washer right now, enough to fill the rain barrels and water the yard/garden.
I don't expect more than a 1/4" but thank the good lord for what it is.

Is raining again in San Antonio, was not expecting rain today, I guess I should start believing the weather folks again. Too bad I have to cancel my trip to Canyon lake.

Rained out west last night. A decent soaker. Not much runoff though.
It would be nice to see a creek running.

I'm ready for it to stop raining just because the humidity is killing me at work. I'm tired of having sweat drip onto my glasses.

Maybe if Texas goes full-on desert, we can convince the idiots from California not to move here.

St. Augustine. City water. It's all about the chicken poop fertilizer.

Edit: it did also rain 15" in the past 30 days. That might have something to do with it.

In two weeks it will look like this.
