Well, I wore out my gas rings and could use some new ones - I just don't want to pay $5 shipping for a $3 set. If any of you find yourselves around Fort Hood or are gonna be at the Oct meet, let me know and I'll buy a set or two off you in person.

They may have them but would probably cost more than $5 for gas.

Not that a run to a well stocked store isn't worth the trip.

I've checked into Academy, JT Sports, Quantico, Knocked and Loaded, and all three local gunsmiths. One guy keeps telling me they're on order, but that's been for some time now. I think when I was at Webers, they didn't have any at the time either. That was a few months back though so that may have changed by now.

I just saw the ones on Amazon. I may just fork over the extra $2 for them. I'll update this thread if I go that route. I just prefer dealing local when possible.

I haven't tried Action Pawn but Guns Galore didn't have em either. I'm kinda surprised how hard it is to find rebuild kits locally for one of America's most popular rifles right outside of a military base.
