I Want to buy a Ruger / S&W / Dan Wesson / or ??? .357 magnum. Interested in a FTF deal in the Austin / San Antonio (or within reasonable distance) areas. Will consider other makes. Willing to pay fair price for the right gun.

I'm in both Austin and San Antonio several times a week.

Zembonez, do you have it narrowed down anymore than just a 357? Long barrel, short, price, 5 shot, 8 shot, or are you just waiting for the right offer to come along?

Don't have a need - just scratching an itch, so I'm pretty open to the configuration. Like stainless, but I'd buy one that is not. I am not looking to steal one... gladly pay a fair price for a quality gun.

I really just figured I would post it among us first in case somebody here had one they wanted to sell.

Here is the Rossi M971 in .357 4" Stainless...I forgot to take pics and post the other night, sorry the pics kind of suck... Gonna post it on here, and on other sites, need to fund a new 1911... Let me know if your interested.. The leather was custom made by Murph's in China Grove, NC when I lived out there a few years ago.. You forget you have this thing on with that holster...

I bought one today. Found a Colt Trooper for decent money which was completely not what I was expecting to find.

Edit: Turned out to be a Trooper - not a Python. Still bought it...

Buying from a friend in Houston. He's gonna be in Austin Monday. He originally told me it was a Python. I was all excited. Turns out it's a Trooper. Still cool... just not quite a Python.
