This is a Fireplace Xtraordinaire insert by Travis Industries, one of the best manufacturers in North America. I bought it, lightly used, from a couple in Austin last winter who switched to gas, and when I got it home to Sweetwater, found out the only certified chimney guy around would not install it because he didn't like the design of my chimney, and said the chimney itself was not high enough to meet code. It comes with everything but the insulated pipe. I have no choice but to sell it, and I am asking $950 for it. Compare the quality of this insert to so many others on the market and you'll see it is a bargain. It probably weighs 500 pounds, and you are going to have to come get it and load it. With four back surgeries and spinal injections scheduled this afternoon in Abilene, I simply cannot help at all. I only got it out of my truck bed with a shop crane that I no longer have.
Put this insert in your home or cabin and enjoy Christmas and the winter heating season in comfort.

I would take $800 for it. It is on a pallet and the pallet is on one of those 1,000-pound Harbor Freight dollies -- which goes with it. :tree:
Loading would be easier with a low-clearance ATV trailer ...

Someone asked about dimensions. It is 29 inches across the face and 21 1/2 inches high, 19 inches deep, and the front edge of the flue flange on top is 9 1/2 inches from the front. Would go $650. This thing will heat a house or cabin for at least a generation.
