If you had any critical thinking skills you'd realize it's a stupid thread to begin with.


1.) The new law will not affect the rate of licenses expiring.
2.) Thus, the new law will have no affect on how many people will use the website.

It might cause a few procrastinators to wait until their birthdays to renew online, but I fail to see how you came to the conclusion that the new law would increase the website traffic at such an incredible level.

Your only valid point is that someone will have to add a few more words to an FAQ.

You need to realize when you are talking out of your ass.

Your statement, "Nothing in the online application will need to change" shows
you know shit about IT.

At an absolute minimum the help text and FAQs must change. There more than
likely will be an addition or subtraction to the process. All that must go though
localization (EN + ES) and alt text for ADA and a QA process.

Plus the obvious and predictable increase in traffic for anyone less than 5 months out.

Yep. I consult for those companies. Anyone who takes I-anything seriously is relegated to a little cube where everyone knows they're a joke and we just tell them what it takes to get them to shut up and let the actual workers do work.
