Rumor is CPS is building a call center off 151 and potranco.
TimeWarner Cable is always hiring people, dispatch position open at the moment, office is located off 281 and Bitters.
If the merger goes through Comcast is going to open a lot of new offices.
If Google announces they're a go, I'm sure they'll be hiring staff.
Might want to try SouthWest Research Institute off Culebra and 410 they are usually hiring.

Skip, have her check with local and surrounding municipalities. A city gig isn't bad, she won't get rich, but stable w/benefits is a pro. Summer/seasonal positions should be opening up in parks & rec, activities, etc. If she can get her foot in the door there, she can possibly slide into a fulltime come fall/winter after the fiscal year posts in Sept/Oct.

Skip, if she is still looking Humana is hiring at our datapoint building, but she would have to jump on it quick. It is a good job. And there is really only one time of the year when she might have to work weekends. Plus the base alone is better than home depot.

Were you a bit closer, I know of a gun shop looking for someone to do all their admin work (4473s, ordering, inventory management, etc).

Schedule ain't quite what you are looking for, but you are a bit far anyway.

She's been working at Home Depot in Helotes (NW side) for 10 years as a head cashier. Hopefully she can get a monday through friday job so we can have weekends together again, but if course thats just a "hope" thing. She does have several apps out so far. She really is a good, honest, and friendly person.
If you hear of anything please let me know. Thanks, Skip

I work in the service dept at Keith zars pool. We just lost one of our office people this week. The Jo is pretty much answering phones and writing work orders on the computer. We will train for the computer program but she would have to have some kind of computer skills.

We pay pretty good. One weekend on call per month (4 hours). Generally 8-5 gig and 8-12 on a Saturday. Some customer service. Lots of ugly pool guys around. She would be in an office with the other 3 girls and 2 parts guys.

It's a pretty solid gig. Just stop by our service department. We're at 17427 San Pedro. Right at 281 & 1604. She can tell them Roger sent her, though that won't guarantee anything...
