Same here. I have time throughout the day to read teh forum for a minute or two, but am generally too busy to post. Also, I'm almost always a day or two behind reading posts so all the legitimate questions have already been thoroughly discussed and the illegitimate ones have been thoroughly diss'd, lol...

The count is skewed due to cookie issues with the "new posts" feature. We can either have a populated "new posts" list, or we can have an accurate count of the number of people online.

For a long time I was concerned about the Feds monitoring us so I kept pretty cool and avoided posting on any sites. Now, I'm retired and find it hard to give a flip about those knotheads. If they don't have anything better to do than to keep tabs on a retired old fart then..........well....... you know.

I will NOT get sucked into a punk fight online. As soon as things get rude, I walk away and feel no need to justify, defend, answer back or participate.

The feds are monitoring gunsites. I found that out on another forum. Had several hits with IP addresses per day from DC. They also use net bots to search certain topics, such as when certain name are mentioned, and certain words are used with those names. Those bots are programs that search the sites for key topics.
Needless to say, I dont give a rats ass either. If they want to join in on the discussion they should log on.
