If you are thinking of Industrial hard chrome thats not a good
idea unless you are just going to polish it and look at it.
Hard chrome will pit and or chip if it is hit with anything
that is as hard as it is, hitting a tailgat or slips and hits the ground
where rocks, driveway concrete may be.
If that happens then the that piece has to be completly stripped
of the chrome , fix the bad spot and then rechrome.
I worked in a chrome shop for three years and what an experiance
that was, I still have sinus problems.

I am thinking about a chrome finish that is a bit more forgiving, at least I hope so. I am going to send it to Todd at customizedcreationz. I noticed that he is a new member here. I called him and he spent several minutes explaining my options to me. He was very giving of his time on the phone, unlike some businesses where it seems like you are bothering them when you call.

I want a very shinny look - I want it to look as close to a Winchester Stainless Marine finish as we can get on a new 870 Police. This is going to be a "safe queen" not a shooter, so I'm looking a bit more toward "looks" than function.
