Where are the cheap mosin's i read about

Looking to buy a mosin nagant for my father for Christmas. I read alot about certain stores having them for 70-100 bucks. Can anyone point me in a direction, Im looking for a shooter not a super nice one. My father can be kinda rough on rifles so I dont want to get him a really nice one only to see it get beat up.

Check Cabelas, and I think Military Gun Supply in Fort Worth stocks them. You can still find the 91/30s for around 100 bucks, but the shorter (and I think cooler M44s are harder to find now and when you do a decent copy will cost around 200 or so dollars.

gander mountain usually has a few for 109 bucks
at just about every gun show there is atleast one person selling them for 100 bucks as well
