It’s a differentiation from shotgun vs rifle vs musket. All can shoot solid projectiles, but they aren’t treated the same.

True, the reported accuracy of 4MOA isn't that significant at 25yards.As a PDW for home use, the distances involved are probably not such that rifling makes much of a difference.
