Well they say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, to get you on a good start towards the things you need to do.
When I still lived at home, my stepmom was a wonderful cook and made everything from scratch. During the week, she usually made fairly us a fairly simple breakfast. But in Saturday and Sunday, it was like the buffet at IHOP, only way better! And it would vary on what we had. Sometimes it might be pancakes, steaks, pork chops, always biscuits, sausage, ham or bacon, hash browns, sausage or country style gravy, lots of eggs cooked several ways, and quite a few other things too.
Dad made sure we didn't get too fat on our stepmom's cooking, because he worked us like rented mules around the farm on the weekend!
I still enjoy a good breakfast, and the closest I can get to those meals now, is to fix them myself. I like to make biscuits from scratch, and fried or scrambled eggs cooked in bacon grease. When I eat breakfast, there is a pig and a chicken involved it it!
So what's for breakfast?
