My very first gun was a single shot bolt action Remington 510 Target Master. It would shoot shorts, longs and long rifle. My dad presented it to me in 1958 on my tenth birthday. I spent years in the forest hunting squirrels and shooting targets. I can still remember that wonderful smell of shooting it on a cold day. What was your first real gun?

Glock 27. Qualified for my carry permit with it. Sold it many years ago.

At eight and nine years old, our father bought my brother and I matchin Marlin Glenfield 22 bolt action rifles and H&R single shot 20 gauge shotguns for Christmas.

At 16, my father bought me a used Winchester model 94 in 30-30 from money I saved up working a summer job.

At 18, I bought a Mauser actioned 30-06 rifle for deer hunting from a pawn shop.

Stevens 22. Belonged to my grandfather.

In my 20's, didnt know anything about guns. Steelwooled all the rust off and re-blued with Birchwood's. Looks decent today and at least protected.

Re-stained the stock with dirty transmission fluid. It actually looks great to this day.
