What was the first gun you bought yourself once 21?

Bought a Belgium Browning A5 and an SKS within a week of each other at 18 and bought my first handgun way too late at 26. It was an XD M full size in 40 short and weak. Still have it and had Bar Sto make me a threaded barrel to supress all the 180gr ammo.

Not carrying and past 21, but by first ever was Ruger M77 MK II 7mag stainless steel with boat paddle synthetic stock and Leopoldo VXIII scope. I was 23. Sold to my brother 20 years ago. Wish I had kept it but I do not hunt and it’s kind of an expensive plinker

It was the kind they had some comfortable chars around & oldster hung out bitched about politics & drank coffee.

I was working @ UPS so I knew the day it was being delivered. Drive told me he would drop it early for me. Both the old couple owners & two other old guys were there. One old man asked what I was going to shoot with that I told him tyrants, they all smiled & laughed.
