Let's discuss the pew pew of our dreams that we have yet to purchase.
Either an Uberti 1873 Winchester, or a 'real' (made in Japan) Winchester, in .357.
I had one reserved at a seller's website, got an email notification that it was in stock, immediately 'bought it'... but the next day I received another email, only to learn that someone else had beaten me to purchase by a few seconds. Took that as a 'sign' and deleted it from my 'In stock notification'.

Another one, that is more a 'fantasy' than for real, would be a functioning AR that looks like the attached. Make people doubt if it really worked.
    I have no idea why,

Been looking for a 5.7 something or other. Getting on in years and am thinking of something with less recoil than a 1911 but still good for HD,

I'm considering a home defense shotty. I don't want to spend a lot though.
Are the Turkish shotguns any good? Are they at least made of quality steel?
Pump and semi's, the consensus is no. Break action, you may be OK. There have been a few "burn down" tests on Youtube where the Turkish repeaters literally fall apart. IMO, you'd be better served with a Maverick 88, a less expensive, yet highly regarded version of the Mossberg 500. Maybe find one sub $200 around Black Friday.
