Something full auto. Thompson, MP5 or something similar. I could technically afford it but can't justify the cost. Don't know what would be more $$, the firearm or the ammo

Ammo cost for a full auto is a thing. I have been wanting an American 180 since it is a full auto .22lr keeping ammo cost more reasonable.

Trying to get a drum to run could be a challenge plus the ability to get a full auto 10/22 unless you are an FFL with the proper SOT.

The American 180 was designed to be full auto and has about a 100 round drum mag that will run.

An AR-15 with a binary trigger and a dedicated .22lr upper, not with a .223 chamber insert, and a Black Dog Machine drum runs fairly well.
