If you dont do facebook. Terrific. Move along.

I watch a couple of the local groups and havent seen a single deal and mostly high prices. I also see a fair number of guys posting that the buyer or seller backed out once the deal was made, pretty frequently.

A couple of my customers in the Ft Hood area belong to one. Tried to get me to join. Said the regulars are good to deal with.
But I don't do facebook. Guess it would depend on who you are dealing with. Few bad apples most places.

I made a deal for one pistol sale on the Wilco FB page; but that's about my extent of FB dealings. Seems like the same stuff with inane responses bumping the same posts to the top multiple times daily. There was some chatter about FB trying to lock up any pages mentioning firearms...blah, blah, blah.

Mostly overpriced, good deals go FAST.

Pretty much quit paying attention to it. Not on FB enough to snag the uncommon deal that pops up.

Ah, that sounds like the spot I'm in. Same with those FB stuff for sale pages. By the time I see a nice kitchen table or whatever, there are 20 comments on it.

That's why the Austin one renamed itself. Austin Gum Traders.

I bought a 20 Gauge mossberg 500 off Austin Gum Traders last week for $125. Got lucky that is was the first post in my feed when I logged on. Unless you wait all day for the deals you won't be quick enough and
