I miss those days...
Yep.I miss those days...
Damn. I gotta buy a can of chain lube. Phuckers that sold me the bike should've either threw in a can or walked me over to the shelf. I was ultra tired of looking at the salesman face so I bailed out of there like they had a gun pointed at me.
$15 average for a spray can of chain lube. $hit.
Of all the drives. Belt is my favorite. The belt last practically forever. It's quiet and low maintenance. Softer feel to the bike.
Second pick is a chain. Besides chain lube every 300 miles. You can change out sprockets for a gear change. Little bit of a rattle to the chain.
Third is shaft drive. Clunky and whiny. Clanky solid feel and sound. It's third on my list because the tube the drive shaft runs through isn't all that water resistant. It'll get water in it and the water collects by the rear pinion bearing. It has to be inspected and packed with grease or it'll go to $hit in around 1000miles.
Damn chain lube.....$15.....and a fork seal replacement...
Arai.
Isn't your head worth $400?
