Well, I haven't been doing much to the blazer, so I'll share things on occasion from work. Today, among a few other things I was juggling, was the removal of an engine from a golf - cart. It's output seals are shot.

Tomorrow, I've got an F 150 I've gotta play with and I'm on call for if any grounds keeping equipment goes down, so I'll be cleaning this and replacing seals as I have time. I'll get it back in the cart probably wed.

Agreed. I'll do the same to my dodge some time. The stocks are getting oxidized on top.

Yeah, the picture doesn't show it but mine are oxidized and scratched up. Tried all the wives tale tricks but nothing worked so instead of buying a $50 headlight cleaning/buffing kit figured I'll replace them to some that'll look better on the truck. Tail lights might get done eventually as well.

I started my car this morning and it took a few miliseconds longer than normal to crank and the HIDs didn't fire up when I unlocked the car so I suspected my battery was on it's way out. It's reading ~ 10.5V sitting and 15V when the alternator is charging it. Anyways, I'm just going to get a new battery, it's been a while since my last one.

Anybody have any suggestions on good aftermarket tail lights? I've been looking at these however the reviews for this brand are all over.

It seems like it's really hit or miss with those aftermarket headlights and tail lights. I've seen some that look great and others that look like garbage.

Yea, they don't seem to use the best lense plastics for some reason. I wish you the best TDH, but make sure you read up on the warranty and the return policy.

Old truck got new tires this morning. Still need to do shocks and brakes on that one, but at least there's good rubber on there now. She runs good for 122,000 miles too, will make a good first vehicle for the 16 year old.
