Installed a new battery I bought for the Camry three months ago. Herniated two discs in my back a day or two after buying it, so it’s been sitting. Been crossing my fingers that the old battery would not crap out before I was able to replace it. Im only now able to do any sort of careful lifting, so it was first on the list to get done.

Decided it was time to own something that is for sure not talking to the mothership.

    '77 F100.

Someone spent a lot of time and money upgrading it to run and ride well. Lots of shiny stuff under the hood and aftermarket gauges as well as newer bushings and shocks underneath.

The lift? Someone needs their welder taken away. Seems to be solid but the look of them doesn't instill the most confidence.

Just a little surface rust. The body and frame are solid. 20 layers of paint are definitely the worst part.

Rotated my tires. Had to get a torch out to get one rear wheel off. Sledge hammer wouldn't do it alone. Damn hub centric wheels and corrosion don't mix well.

Picked up two air jacks (Amazon ~$120 each) knowing this needed done. 5/5 stars. Would definitely recommend. Way easier than reaching under there to pump a little handle 200 times and much cheaper than a jack long enough to not have to do that.

I don't have concrete to work on so the wide base plates make them work well on gravel or grass.

Lifted the truck in seconds. They're quick. Lifted my diesel dually right up.

They're wide though and don't fit in my normal jack points but made it work.

I recently installed Good-Win Racing headers on my 2017 Miata. Since I bought it, I have installed springs, exhaust, spacers, and an E85 tune. The car is decently quick and is very agile and snappy in the curves. I take it to AutoX and it performs great!

The new multi-function (turn signal) switch finally arrived today so I'll be replacing it today so that I can drive at night. It would turn on the powerful high beams at random and that is just not safe. Hoping it is a simple and quick job (according to the MM) but it's a Chevy so I can only assume I'll spend 3 days fighting it.
