Yeah they were having issues getting people ushered in. Apparently some of the folks who arrived towards the end of the "arrival window" waited an hour and a half to get in. Only took us 30min and 15 of that was accidentally sitting in a line where people had broken down.

A friend of mine used to have one. His favorite line is "I loved that car, but it didn't love me back."
He has an Elise now that hasn't given him any trouble in several years of ownership.

My ex brother in law had a Lotus "Europa" I believe it was called. It was a neat little car and fun to drive. The gear shift lever only moved about 3" for the next gear, super fast to shift but don't miss a gear or it would fall flat on it's face and grind the hell out of gears. Pain in the ass to get in or out of. Didn't have it long though, to much maintenance and expensive to work on.

Got the Jag running again. It's lasted three days now, which is a new record!

 

[Lost Spurs]

Changed the oil on the Tahoe. Inspection found a bolt in the left rear tire, I ran a plug into it. 175k on it now and it keeps ticking along. Long story but at idle it only has 1 line of oil pressure along with a warning in the display. It has been like that for a year and a half now.

Replaced an older low profile toolbox with a new Weatherguard.

Added some Mercon V to the power steering reservoir on my 2003 Expedition. Only needed a couple ounces to bring it up to the proper level. First time in 13 years, so, not bad. Did some research to find the correct fluid. Turns out it uses Ford transmission fluid.

These are not just stickers..these are big thick emblems that you would have to use a heat gun and chisel on.
Luckily, I’m just not bothered by such things.
