Apparently they were a short run and just for a few years. Cool. Good information to have. Like I said, I wasn't aware they offered them, and have never seen one personally.1980s up until about 1991 apparently:

When the SKSs were retailing for less than $100 back around 1990, I was able to buy a full case for $800. I removed the lid of the crate, and replaced it with a large piece of Lexan. Made for a pretty cool coffee table that started it's own conversations.I forgot about the days when you could get a yugo SKS for $150. Some company was selling them by the crate. Almost bought a crate but bought a guitar instead. Sold the guitar during the divorce though.

I feel your pain. In the 70's I had a chance to buy a 1956 Crown Victoria that was in awesome condition for $200 and didn't have the money.I was tempted to buy one of the Mosin Nagant PU Sniper rifles (turned down bolt and fixed power scope). IIRC they were $400ish when the plain jane 91/30's were going for $79. I was poor as f**k at the time so the PU was not to be. Don't really see the PU's anymore...

The PS90 is just one of those guns that everyone gravitates towards. I carried mine at the GOA Texas rally at the Capitol a couple years ago. Gun owners in the rally and people off the street would point it out and ask questions. It's a hoot to shoot. Those little 5.7's are like little laser beams. You won't regret it unless you actually want to shoot it @ current ammo rates. But my one gun I never bought, but always wanted, and talked myself out of multiple times?
PS90.
