1911 newb question, how much of a pain is it to swap out these type of sights? Ive always avoided 1911s that do not have novak or other similar sights

You need a smith that specializes in 1911s, and has the correct staking tools.
I've seen a lot of smuts that claim to be able to do the front sights, and it normally turns out badly.
There is a guy in SA that does good work on 1911s, shop name is 10 Ring Performance.

I like the 3-dot sights that come on these.
