Hey! I spent some quality time with a rental FN-15 today, deciding if I want to jump into 5.56. Not sure if it's worth getting into another caliber with so many good 9mm carbines out there.....I think this forum is infested with a bunch of slackers.

So much better to build, it’s very easy and fun. At least build your lower and buy a complete upper. If this is your first, buy once, cry once.Hey! No sir, can’t bring myself to.Are you really going to shoot that?
If you're gonna keep it forever there are few negatives to building your own. If you think you might sell it in the future get a decent factory rifle. Few people will want someone else's LEGO project unless it is at a severe discount.Hey! I spent some quality time with a rental FN-15 today, deciding if I want to jump into 5.56.
