Probably one of the best pump shotguns ever made. It was my older brother's first shotgun and his came with the 18" barrel and the long bird hunting barrel. It has been used for over 20 years and has never failed. A cousin has the same combination and it's the only shotgun he has.
If I remember correctly, back then it was less than $300 for the shotgun with 2 barrels and a pistol grip.
I bought a Maverick 88 just before the chinavirus with 18.5 and 26'' vr barrel from Academy for $219.
Most would consider that a trade up . Sigs old steel guns are awesomeTraded a Glock 22 for this P229 (40 S&W) from 1993. Matching serials, Germany stamp on frame.

I sure felt the trade was in my favor which I was I was suspect of the guy... His answer was simple, he wanted the lighter carry weight and that the glock felt better in his "ogre hands"... hahaMost would consider that a trade up . Sigs old steel guns are awesome

Yes, 9mm. I am looking for a good price on a Jericho 941 with steel frame, haven’t found that yet, but stumbled across this instead and I immediately liked the feel in my hand. I had not seen one prior to this. So far it runs good and shoots straight, but only have about 300 through it so far. It does handle various loads without a hiccup.Cool!
