Got this little guy yesterday. Beretta Tomcat (32acp).

Man I want one of these, just for the hell of it. I got a s&w bodyguard 380. But I think one of these would do nicely.

I heard that the older ones couldn’t handle higher pressure 32acp, is that still true?

Not sure, but that is what I read when researching it also.

Heard the same thing about this newer model; frame cracking and rim lock on JHPs. Hopefully, I'll get a chance to take it out Monday.

I do not have any HPs to test out though.

Well with such a small round, I would just carry and shoot FMJ.

    Gunz are icky.
re: Beretta 3032 and the notorious frame crack.
    Big nothing burger.
The frame section that cracks is the thin part above the oblong hole where the trigger linkage passes thru the side of the frame.
It WILL happen on your little Beretta if you shoot it more than a few times. Beretta no longer replaces under warranty. You’re on your own.
Generally it causes zero issues except for anal OCD types that cry and throw themselves around tearing their eyes out because MUH GUN ISN’T PERFECT!
If the cracked piece bends upwards it may contact the bottom edge of the slide during cycling and cause problems. Use a small file and remove the burr. If you’re lucky the entire piece will break off and go away. Then no problems at all.
I shoot my cracked frame guns frequently without issues.
