I bought a Glock 21. It was on sale. Good thing I have 45 ACP at home, as Academy was sold out of all pistol ammo. I also helped a friend pick out a shotgun.

I’m actually writing from the Academy parking lot as I await HCSO to show up. My truck was broken into. Nothing stolen, but my door lock is broken. I’ve had the truck 4 years, it has now been broken into twice. The first time was last Thanksgiving and it happens less than two miles of here.

Sorry to hear about the truck man. I HATE thieves.

on a side note, I talked to Academy today as I called all over DFW to find somebody that had .223 ammo and I ended up finding a bunch at an obscure gun store. Academy did say their truck will be in tomorrow so that might be the time to go when the store opens up since their truck should be unloaded by then if you need ammo. If not, check out Euless Guns and Ammo if you're willing to drive. I was in there today and they had more than enough .223 and every other kind of ammo that you could want, but they are limited to two boxes per purchase.

Bought a Sig P365 yesterday at the gunshow as a replacement carry pistol for my CZ Rami.
Shot it today and was impressed. Nice trigger, accurate, factory night sights and ran through 200 rds of FMJs and 25 rds of HPs with no problem.

Thanks. I wasn’t going for ammo. Heck, I wasn’t going to buy a gun. :) I went to help my buddy pick out his gun.

Though we never know what is really enough, I always have a somewhat decent inventory of ammo.

For various reasons, I was in the store for 1 hour 45 mins. It was scary seeing some of the people buying guns who really have no idea what they are doing. I answered a lot of questions for people about firearms, cleaning kits and ammo. I had one guy ask me if the 45 ACP Hornady bullets would “work in Kimber”. I told him yes, but those were just the bullets for reloading.

Oh man....I keep hearing this kind of story. Even leftists are becoming "gun friendly". I always say they're the first to jump behind a man with a gun in the situation of crisis. Pussies all the way.

GT had some trade in Glock 21 pistols. I almost bought one, even though I'm not a Glock fan. $359 was a damn good price.
I had a G21 many years ago and liked it a lot but it was a big chunk of gun!

@TheMailMan, that is an outstanding price. I ended up buying new and cost me much more than that. If I lived closer to GT, I think I would have many more used firearms in my collection. The G21 was the first 45 ACP that I fired, and I have thought about getting one ever since. The first 45 in my collection, however was a Springfield 1911.- Semper Fi!

@Charlie, I am a big chunk of a guy, and full size pistols feel better in my hands. At least, I didn't go for the G41.

Did a little online bidding today, I had the high bids on these:

    H & R Model “22 Special” .22 LR D.A. Break-Top Revolver

Iver Johnson Arms & Cycle Works Model I.J. Target Sealed 8, second model

Iver Johnson Double Action Top Break Revolver .32 Cal., 3” Barrel, Nickel Finish (not sure of exact model but believe it to be the Third Model Safety Automatic Hammer, time and delivery will tell but it did have the 4 pins in the frame).

    Ortgies (Deutsche Werke ) 7.65mm (.32 ACP)

All eligible to ship to me under virtue of my C&R, which is a good thing.

I also picked up a bayonet for my Mauser Chileno Modelo 1895.
