    Nice receivers, BTW.

That’s a good looking build. Specs? Barrel, LPK, & FCG?

It was a combination of bought for this build and parts I had left over from previous builds/upgrades but let’s see what I can remember for sure.

PWS MK1 forged stripped lower (ambi mag release lever and bolt release included with lower)

Blemished forged upper (bought from Brownells I believe but brand escapes me right this second)

Rainier Arms 18” SS Match barrel in .223 Wylde (bought from a member here on TGT)

    Fortis RED SS brake

Strike Industries bolt catch and mag release

Diamondhead VRS free floating hand guard/barrel
    nut set

    BCM Gunfighter charging handle

    ACE rifle stock

“Blue” trigger assembly from Ground Zero Precision

    Magpul grip

Nikon P-223 1.5-4.5 scope with Nikon rings.

That’s what I know for sure off the top of my head and most of the non exciting but functional parts (roll pins, takedown pins, springs, etc) I had in my parts box.

And many thanks to Tony (V-Tach) over at Aransas Firearms for having a crush washer and allowing me to use his vice to install the brake. Also for selling me the scope.

Ok ... I liked the Shadow Tac II so much - I bought a CZ 75 Compact Shadowline to keep company.

Shadowline left - Shadow Tac II right

I'm likey. I just hope I have some fun funds if I see a PCR without a firing pin block.

Both run fiber optic front and blacked out rears. I'm thinking on Truglo TFX Pros but not yet.

Except for the bad magazines. Last time I had one they jammed pretty regular and I got tired of it and sold it. Recently got a deal on a take down and bought another along with some BX-25 mags. 2 of which jammed in the first loading. Saw online there is a fix for this using a .22 empty shell casing but haven't tried it yet. If that doesn't work it goes back up for sale. Can't stand jam o matic guns.

Been running Butler Creek mags for decades....haven't tried the BX-25's...

10/22 is one of the most reliable guns out there, imho.....

My Takedown nor my target more have had an issue with any of the BX-1, BX-15 or BX-25 I've used.

With as many as they make, I suppose one with an issue slips through now and again.

Haven't had any problems with the BX-25's. Of course, not much of the rifle is original either, but then I don't remember having problems before it's transformation.

Well this is the third rifle and have never had good luck with the rotary mags. CCI standard velocity ammo. Don't know why. They have been pretty unreliable for me. Bullet/shell sticks down in the mag or bullet nose doesn't lift and jams into the front of the mag. Had to disassemble two of them just to empty them.

I only use jacketed bullets, like the mini mags. Maybe that's why.

I know how frustrating Jam-O-Matics can be, so I'll take it off your hands.
