Out of all the classic Ruger P series pistols my favorite is the P89DC. I just purchased this one on Gun Broker today that is complete and practically in mint condition.

You'll go broke trying to keep up with Moonpie, but just feel satisfied that you don't have to move a lot of guns to get to the gun safe.

My deceased father (of many years) came to Kerrville to visit and we went to Gibson's. He was wanting a gun to have around the house and ended up with a S&W 629 (Long barrel, etc.). My mother threw a fit until I told here it's too damn big to carry around. I think it had a 7 or 8 inch barrel, 44 mag. It's a cannon, for sure (44 mag.).

I scratched my .44 magnum itch with a very used, but perfectly functional, Ruger Super Blackhawk with a 7.5” barrel.

It is a hoot to shoot. One cylinder full of .44 magnums is plenty for me. But .44 Specials are easy and fun to shoot with it.
