Am I sposed to lube cast PC's boolits when I size them?
Finish running cast 380s back through the press... They were a little long somehow and wouldn't go fully into battery. If I chambered and ejected I could see where it was driving into the lands. Pushed them in another little bit with the seating die and then a little touch from the crimp die. All reboxed up and ready to go.
I still have 350 rounds of played rnfp loads that don't eject. When I put them over a chono they were only like 700 fps... The OAL is all a lot longer on these as well so I'm guessing my seating die was adjusted between test loads and final run. I don't know how it happened but it's quite frustrating to get to the range and your rounds don't work.

Yep. I had loaded 3 different bullets for the 380 and had pre marked them on the seating die. I'm starting to think instead of tightening down I loosened the seating stem instead.Welcome to the world of reloading!
To All,
ALL that I did in reloading this weekend (IF you call it that??) was look around the WWW for a gang-mold for > 300 grain CB in 9.3x62mm Mauser. = FOUND ZILCH.

Maverick 44,
The 37-300C is exactly what I want but NOBODY seems to have a 4-6 cavity mold IN STOCK. = It weighs about 310-15 grains with gas check installed (depending on the alloy) & it is a KILLER at 1800-2000FPS on anything short of a T-Tex.
(My little brother, who has forgotten more about handloading than most "experts" know, says that that design ON HEAVY GAME expends virtually all of its energy INSIDE the body of the animal & on game of about 500# or less, it shoots clear through & out the other side of the quarry.)
One vendor said that they MIGHT be able to get me a 6 cavity "maybe by Christmas or sometime after New Years". - The remaining people that I talked to said that it was out of stock & some said they might not get anymore, ever.
My single & double cavity molds are quite SLOW if you are doing a lot of CB loading.
BTW, the #37-300C as a "plain base" CB is near PERFECTION out of a 9.3x57 Mauser if loaded to about 1400FPS on any game that the 9.3x57mm is "enough gun" for.
(I once, when I was stationed in USAREUR, knew a number of Scandinavian commercial moose & reindeer hunters, who used the "obsolete" 9.3x57mm exclusively as "at woods ranges" out to 100+M it kills cleanly & spoils little saleable meat.- Most of those hunter's shots are made, using hounds, at 50M or less.)

I imagine a 300gr bullet at 1400 FPS would be a great game load. That's more or less the same energy as the old 405gr black powder load for 45-70.
