I've got to deal with the "box." You know the one. It gets the culls. Primer missing, backwards, bullet got set funky, military brass that doesn't have enough of the crimp removed....
I need to do that one of these days. Mine is a 1 gallon bucket that's overflowing.
You separate them by hand?
Learned an easy trick a while back incase you don't know it (or for anybody else).
Dump your brass over a case holder or plastic insert from factory ammo. Shake it until they are all in the holes. Usually the head falls in first but it doesn't really matter.
Looking at the side makes it easy to tell which are 9mm or 380 (or 357/ 38, 40/10mm, 44 Mag/ Special, etc.)
I did this the other day to separate 38 and 357. Works great. Much easier than trying to read the stamps. View attachment 161232
I used to do it that way. Since I already owned a set of Shell Sorters I went ahead and bought the .380 plate. Best $21.95 I've spent in a while. MUCH quicker than doing them 50 at a time and still missing one.
